How to Load NextMind Slides in PowerPoint

Using PowerPoint on your desktop?
Install NextMind Slides for local PowerPoint below.

Installation Guide for Office on Windows

Your PowerPoint version should be 2016 or later.

  1. Download NextMind Slides installation ZIP file and unzip it.

    • If your browser blocks it, proceed anyway.​

  2. Double-click 'nextmind_slides_1.0.0.0.exe' to execute the installation process.

  3. After installation, reopen Microsoft PowerPoint.

  4. In Home tab, click Add-ins → Advanced, then select NextMind Slides from the list and click 'Add' button.

  5. The NextMind Slides will then appear in your Home tab, ready to use.

Using PowerPoint on Mac?

Your PowerPoint version should be15.24 (160614) or later

  1. Download the ZIP package containing 'nextmind_slides_1.0.0.0.xml' file and extract it.

    • If your browser blocks it, proceed anyway.

  2. Open Finder, then press 'Command + Shift + G' to open the 'Go to Folder'  dialog.

  3. Enter the following path and click Go:

    • /Users/<username>/Library/Containers/com.Microsoft.Powerpoint/Data/Documents/wef

    • If the 'wef' folder does not exist, create it manually.

  4. Copy 'nextmind_slides_1.0.0.0.xml' file into this 'wef' folder.

  5. Restart PowerPoint, and the NextMind Slides add-in will automatically appear in the Home tab.
